Founded in 2009 as an in-home personal training business, Burr Ridge Kettlebell Club has grown into a small group gym and personal training gym lead by Paul and Angie Lyngso and a team of inspirational instructors.

Paul views the ability to move well as absolutely essential to leading a fulfilling life - both inside and outside of the gym. Cultivating physical strength allows people to enjoy a more balanced, complete life. Lessons learned in the gym, such as patience, persistence and adhering to a plan, carry over into other areas of life.
What is most important to Paul is empowering students to develop a mindset and skills set that will keep them healthy and active for the rest of their lives. At Burr Ridge Kettlebell Club, Paul and his team of instructors help students focus on long-term health and quality of life.
Paul holds a bachelor's degree in food science and nutrition, is a certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor (Level 2), a certified StrongFirst Instructor (Level 2) and a Certified Functional Movement Specialist.
Burr ridge Kettlebell Club members can count on a genuine smile and "hello" from Angie every time they walk in the door. Angie believes it is important to provide a positive and fun environment where members are encouraged to maximize their potential.

Angie's experience as an early childhood teacher has given her a keen ability to communicate and instruct. She has a knack for making members feel comfortable - even with unfamiliar and challenging movements. Angie offers encouraging words and motivational instruction during training sessions. She always prioritizes movement safety and is continually aware of each member's skill-level.
Angie holds a bachelor degree in science and a masters degree in education. She is a Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor (Level 1) and a Certified StrongFirst Instructor (Level 2).
